Why see a nutritional therapist?

There’s no doubt that food - whether it’s what to eat, how much to eat or when to eat it - is a hot topic these days. It can be tricky to know exactly what your body needs to maintain its’ natural balance – which is essential for helping you to feel fit and fabulous on a daily basis!

But as well as promoting and maintaining wellbeing and vitality, what we eat from day to day can also contribute significantly towards supporting optimal long-term health. To learn more about how Nutritional Therapy could benefit you, just click below.

Testimonials

Kizzy, Edinburgh

Having felt tired for years and having to constantly cover my spots with makeup, I decided to try out VivaVitae. I can't believe the difference it has made. The packages are well thought out and the weekly phone calls made sure I was getting the best out of my plan. I can't recommend Sally enough!

Robert, London

I always had cravings throughout the day and would constantly be reaching for the snack cupboard. After hearing about VivaVitae online, I decided to give it a go. I now know what to eat to help keep my cravings at bay and have found healthy alternatives to keep me fuller for longer

Steven, Glasgow

I loved how easy it was to get in touch with VivaVitae and plan our sessions. Doing them over Skype meant I didn't have to leave the comfort of my home but still got my money's worth for a great package. Since then I've felt fitter and more energised.

How it works

Before we meet for the first time, you'll be asked to fill in a comprehensive questionnaire, which provides an overview of current health issues, lifestyle and diet, as well as the wellbeing goals you're keen to achieve. An initial consultation lasts up to ninety minutes with follow-up appointments taking up to an hour. These give us the chance to discuss the information you've provided in more detail, and helps to empower you to develop eating habits that are enjoyable and consequently, more sustainable. So rather than offering a quick fix, this collaborative approach may help you to achieve optimal health and wellbeing over the longer term.

By taking time to understand health issues specific to you and your lifestyle, we can then put together a nutritional programme that's personalised just for you, taking your likes and dislikes, time pressures and any other constraints into account. But all meal and snack suggestions will be tasty, easy to introduce into your lifestyle, flexible and most important, enjoyable to eat! You'll also come away with recommendations for natural supplements and suggestions for tests that can help you to attain optimal health more quickly and efficiently, but these are optional and there is absolutely no obligation to opt for them.

Consultations can be undertaken at your home or office; at clinics in Edinburgh or central London or remotely, by Skype - wherever and whenever suits you best.  So contact us today for a nutritional wellbeing experience that will set you off down the road to optimal health and may help you to feel revitalised in a lot less time than you might think.
